I've lined up, oh, about 27 animated GIFs, all featuring Craig Dahl. There were probably more plays like the ones you'll see below, but I reached the limit of my resources.
Before we begin, how about we quickly cover some of the necessary skills of a decent defender:
- Covers [x]
- Tackles [x]
- Looks lost [ ]
- Takes good routes and angles to the ball and opposing player [x]
- Looks like a clay wall on the wrong side of a swinging wrecking ball [ ]
Okay! Good. Now we know what to/what to not look for in the following Craig Dahl highlights lowlights normalities.
Sorry if any of those GIFs sparked a bad memory or two (and if the page took a while to load).
Not very fundamental football, huh?
Dahl might have an excuse or two. Only the best can defend an Aaron Rodgers pass (and even the best have trouble). In addition, a scrambling quarterback like Colin Kaepernick, Russell Wilson, or Robert Griffin III is difficult to read.
Also, props to Dahl on his stats this season. He did have an interception, 78 total tackles, and 2 passes defended.
Please remember I'm not calling Dahl stupid or questioning his worth ethic, and neither should you.
