The St. Louis Rams pulled off a big win on Sunday, a win that came as something of an upset. They opened NFC West play as three-point underdogs at home to the Seattle Seahawks. True to the Jeff Fisher formula for year one, the Rams used a strong defensive performance and their special teams to get the 19-13 win and move to 2-2 on the season.
The highlights? Well, take your pick. Three interceptions from a defense that seems to have a real knack for plucking the ball out of the air has to rank near the top for this game.
And who can forget Greg Zuerlein, the Leg? The rookie kicked his way into the record books with a 60-yard shot and a 58-yarder. He made it look easy. It's not easy.
Safe to say that this is a much different Rams team than the one we're used to. It's a Rams team that has a formula for playing tough games. The offense has some work to do, lots of work to do, but football is fun again.
