It was the best of times, it was the worst of times ... it was not an atypical series for the St. Louis Rams.
The defense made a big stop on third-and-short, with Janoris Jenkins taking down Marshawn Lynch and forcing Seattle to punt. That sent the offense onto the field with a little swagger, and Sam Bradford took full advantage. He kept a drive alive with a clutch pass to Brandon Gibson, and then made this beautiful throw to Chris Givens.
That was a 53-yard pass to Givens, his first deep ball of the season.
And then it was situation normal. Bradford and Gibson were out of sync. Bradford threw the ball on a timing route right into the hands of Seattle's Richard Sherman.
