The injury report thus far isn't all that bad. Steven Jackson is a probable, but coach Fisher is working on recent addition Terrence Ganaway just in case:
"Well, we’ve been splitting reps. They’re all ready to play, even (RB) Terrance (Ganaway) is ready to play. We’ve been splitting reps in the event that ‘Jack’ can’t go."
Fisher had a couple comments in his press briefing about how he felt about the Rams practice:
"Practice went well. We had a couple guys, 'Brock (DT Michael Brockers) was limited and got a chance, which menas he's questionable for the game. "Jack" (RB Steven Jackson) didn't do much. We'll see how 'Jack' is in warm-ups. We made a roster move yesterday. We let Ty Nsekhe go after we were awarded a claim with (OT) Joe Barksdale from the Raiders. He's a very talented tackle. We were a little nervous - the claiming order changes. After Week #3, we were at #8 and we still got him. We'll see if we can coach him up... He was a run blocker. He’s athletic. He’s played all positions on their offensive line and (Special Teams Coordinator) Coach (John) Fassel having been there last year, he plugged in all positions on field goal protection. So, smart young man, we’re just going to try to get him caught up."..."
He also mentioned that OT Wayne Hunter was questionable for Sunday. Hunter didn't practice today.
It sounds like the team is way healthier than at this point last season. Am I the only one who's amazing we haven't had a CB go out to injury? We have 11 go down last year... I wonder what's changed?
