Just when the Rams thought they had problems on the offensive line due to injuries, today they suffered another blow.

G Rok Watkins injured his ankle and was seen on crutches at Rams practice.

Just how serious is unknown, however sources have said that he is listed as questionable for Sunday's home opener against the Redskins.

With C Scott Wells needing foot surgery, and a scary injury to Rodger Saffold, the Rams clearly did not need another injury.

The good news is that Saffold attended practice today. Although limited, but this is a fantastic sign.

Hopefully the Rams can shake off the injury bug that has stricken the offense front.

[Note by Ryan Van Bibber, 09/12/12 5:29 PM EDT ] The Rams signed Quinn Ojinnaka this week to help shore up the depth needs on the line. If Watkins is out of action, it's a good bet that Ojinnaka will start at left guard ... it might have been a good bet anyway.
