Besides facilitating a reunion between wide receiver Greg Salas and Josh McDaneils and signing talented players the Jets were too arrogant to keep, the Rams are also in the process of putting together a practice squad. So far, they have added a four players, that we know of, to the group.
Center Tim Barnes returns to the team's practice squad, where he spent time last season. I like this move. The Mizzou product was considered one of the top centers in the 2011 draft.
Running back Chase Reynolds cleared waivers and was re-signed to the practice squad. Wide receiver Nick Johnson is also with the group now. Tight end Cory Harkey returns to the team on the practice squad as well.
Linebacker Sammy Brown was snatched up by the Miami Dolphins. According to the Post-Dispatch, the Rams had hoped to add him to the practice squad as well.
The Rams will likely continue making roster moves in the coming days.
