Rams Roster Cuts Update: 13 Players Released So Far

Roster cuts, trade rumors, free agent pickups, Friday has it all for the professional and armchair NFL general manager. The St. Louis Rams are trimming their way down to 53 players ahead of the 8 p.m. CT deadline from the NFL. As of 4:45 p.m. CT, the Rams had made 13 confirmed cuts out of a required 22 to get them at the limit.

Mason Brodine, DE

Sammy Brown, LB

Vernon Gholston, DE

Ben Guidugli, FB

T-Bob Hebert, C

Nick Johnson, WR

Joe Long, OT

Ovie Mughelli, FB

DeAngelo Peterson, TE

Chase Reynolds, RB

The full list will be available soon, and don't expect this version of the 53-man roster to be the same one as what you see on Monday. GM Les Snead has been clear that the team plans to make a few more moves.
