Hello Football Fans!
Welcome to my final installment of the top 200 fantasy players. The reason it is coming a tad early is I am about to go away on vacation but wanted to get this out to my fans and followers.
When using a list like this as a guide in a snake draft, always remember that if there is a guy you want and there are 10-15 picks until your next turn, take him when you want. While I think that I know more than the average fan, it is your team and grab the players you want to root for.
I will call out a few players and the reasoning behind their rankings:
- DeMarco Murray: Yes he is injury prone but he has no competition and will get all 3 downs as well as goal line carries, not many of them players around.
- Jimmy Graham: He will put up better numbers than maybe any WR, yes it seems odd to take a TE late 1st or early 2nd round.
- Steven Jackson: Last year he was the 10th rated RB, has only missed 3 games in the last couple years and is now in the perfect spot for him to finally have a monster season.
- Maurice Jones Drew: I will not draft him in any league, history says RB's that holdout like this do not perform up to their normal standards; let someone else take that chance.
- Ryan Mathews: As my readers know I was and am a huge fan of him, even if he misses 1-2 games, I think he will still be a top 7 RB overall at the end of the year.
- Brandon Lloyd: I do have him higher than most but think he will put up huge numbers and become a top 5 fantasy WR.
- Percy Harvin: He was the #1 WR in the 2nd half of the year in touches and looked to have great chemistry with Ponder and expect them to be behind quite a bit.
- Andre Johnson: He continues to get injured, had one good season and never had double digit TD's, let someone else draft this big name.
- Antonio Gates: He is as healthy as he has been in years, getting him in the 4th round could win you a title.
- Kevin Smith: I do have him quite high bit when he had a chance he responded last year and will get that same shot again with the suspensions and injuries in the Detroit backfield.
- Tony Romo: I usually like him as a 2nd tier QB but not this year, just way too many injuries to all their skill players to make him successful.
- Ryan Williams: He has the skill to make a bad OL look good, look for him in the 2nd half to take this job and run.
- Brandon LaFell: Going into his 3rd year, having the WR2 to himself, I am looking for the leap to maybe a 1,000 season.
- Fred Davis: If you can be patient for the 1st few weeks, he will be a top 5 TE and best friends with RG3.
- Kendall Wright: He already has a nice connection with Jake Locker, see him being the best rookie WR this year.
