There was no questionable cold tub dunking going on when the St. Louis Rams wrapped up training camp this week. Rookies nevertheless did a cold-water experience with a round of dizzy bat races following Wednesday's practices.

And what are these dizzy bat races? Players spin around with their forehead on a baseball bat while someone dumps ice water on them and then they run, or try to. Water batting?

Check out the video of it with reactions from players after the jump. It's pretty hilarious.

Fisher has banned outright hazing, even some of the more ridiculous humiliations that marked a rookie's welcome to the NFL for the amusement of salty vets. I don't really know how much of that went on at Rams Park before Fisher got here, but Fisher's approach seems like a wise one. After all, they're trying to build a team not taint a player's experience and start fights.
