St. Louis Rams wide receiver Brian Quick was taken off the field in the fourth quarter of Saturday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs. He will have x-rays to get a closer look at his back. Details on the injury are still unknown, as is the severity of it.

The rookie receiver caught three passes for 20 yards in the game before leaving. Quick worked extensively with the second and third team from the second quarter until his exit.

St. Louis has mostly managed to avoid major injuries through training camp and the preseason. A small nucleus of players have been on the sidelines with soft tissue injuries. Scott Wells is dealing with more major knee surgery, but other than that, the Rams have been really lucky on the injury front.
