The St. Louis Rams released their list of inactives for Saturday's game against the Chiefs. The list includes some familiar names, like Danario Alexander, and a few surprises. Let's take a look at the inactives and assess after the jump.

Most of these names you know. Gilbert and Harvey are the two roster bodies added this week.

The most notable absences are the wide receivers. Danario Alexander is starving reps, and another game on the sidelines will not help his chances of making the final cut. Brandon Gibson was one of the highlights early in camp. This is also the second preseason game in a row that he will miss. A good two weeks of practice is not going to be enough for Gibson to nail down a roster spot.

Coverage could be interesting with Stewart out of action. That means Craig Dahl will be working with the ones, but you should keep an eye out to see if another player sneaks into the mix. I wouldn't be surprised.
