The St. Louis Rams have a walkthrough scheduled for Friday. That will be their last practice, so to speak, before Saturday's preseason game against the Chiefs. We have plenty to talk about in the time between, so let's get down to business with some Random Ramdom ... including a few bonus thoughts from Peter King, who held a tweetup with Rams fans on Thursday afternoon.
Rams' legends welcomed back by Fisher - Rams greats like Torry Holt and Aeneas Williams can come and go from Rams Park as they wish under head coach Jeff Fisher. Add it to the list of positive changes made since Fisher's arrival.
Bradford dismisses concerns about ankle - Sam Bradford now says the ankle is not an issue, at least not until it causes him to miss time. Hard to argue with that as a simple truth, but it could be an issue faster than he realizes if the pass protection falters.
Rams WR Pettis looking for more in Year Two - Austin Pettis is impressing early as he tries to put a disappointing rookie campaign behind him. The St. Louis Rams have some decisions to make at wide receiver, and Pettis' preseason will give them something to think about.
Get your copy of Devin Briar! - If you like to read and you're looking for a good way to fill the days before real football starts, you ought to pick up a copy of Devin Briar, the new novel from our very own Douglas Morrison. You can get in all sorts of electronic formats, so don't wait!
EARTH CITY, Mo.--Ram thoughts 1: Stunningly young team. Could keep 32 third-year players or younger on 53-man team--incl 3 undrafted FA DBs.

Ram thoughts 4: Travis (son of NBAer Kelly) Tripucka trailing in battle for LS job ... Fisher talks about Janoris Jenkins like he's a vet.

Ram thoughts 3: 2d-rd WR Brian Quick tremendous Thur, but offense has head swimming ... Ex-NYG, -Iggle Steve Smith a lock at WR.

Ram thoughts 2: Rookie K Greg Zuerlein bombed one from 59 Thur, with at least 10 yds to spare ... Isaiah Pead's quickness on display at RB.

Ram thoughts 5: Jenkins, CFinnegan opening-day CBs ... Rams could be 4th in NFCW, but any team w/healthy Sam Bradford will be competitive.
