The St. Louis Rams are aware of Robert Quinn's July 10 arrest for driving while intoxicated in Florissant, Mo. The team said in a statement released on Thursday afternoon that they will let the legal process play out in Quinn's case before taking any action.
The statement form the team reads:
"The Rams and the NFL office are aware of the situation regarding Robert Quinn. We take such matters very seriously, and we will act accordingly once the legal process plays out."
Quinn was arrested when officers determined him to be intoxicated following a single car accident on the I-270 exit ramp at 5:30 a.m. on July 10. The local police department described him as cooperative with officers. He posted bond and was released that day.
The second-year defensive end is the 25th NFL player to be arrested this year.
The NFLPA maintains a service called "Player Transportation Link" which provides rides for all current and former PA members.
