The St. Louis Rams' rookie class a busy week ahead of them. The veterans were dismissed following last week's minicamp, but the youngsters have more learning on their plate as they stick around St. Louis and the area.
On Monday, the rookies are putting together a football camp for area youth. What better way to learn more about the game than by teaching it to even younger players.
Tuesday, they'll be in class learning the finer points of being an professional, things like how not to shoot up a strip club or all those other things than could compromise the team with the league's cleanest arrest record since 2000. They'll learn about managing finances on Wednesday.
The week's biggest event is a trip to Joplin to build homes with Habitat for Humanity on behalf of those who lost their houses in last year's devastating tornado that destroyed much of that community. The Rams have done a considerable amount of work for Joplin, from hands on to raising money for rebuilding and relief efforts.
