Looks like fans will have to wait a little longer to see the St. Louis Rams' 2012 regular season schedule. An unconfirmed copy obtained by TST early Friday is not what the Rams' 2012 schedule will look like.

Rams COO Kevin Demoff told TST that the leaked version of the 2012 schedule could not be the right one, because the home dates listed on it conflict with other events happening at the Edward Jones Dome on those dates.

"It's physically impossible for that to be the real schedule," Demoff said.

Whatever the real schedule is, the Rams already know which teams they will face this season. The real 2012 schedule is not going to be any easier than the fake one. The only differences might be in how opponents are stacked, where the bye week falls, etc.

The early season Thursday night games are a new addition to the NFL schedule this season. Part of a new 13-game package from the NFL Network. Every NFL team will get at least one prime time game with the addition of the new NFL Network package, a nice little tool for the league to apply some pressure to cable providers still holding out on the league's cable channel. The league may later sell an eight-week package of Thursday night games to another network.
