Here we go again.
Instead of last night letting the draft coming to them at #6, the Rams hold the first pick of tonight's second round...along with the 7th and 13th selections.
And with reports that the Rams will indeed use that 33rd overall pick on a player and not trade down, the Rams hold their fortunes in their own hands. So the question is who do we spend that some of those fortunes on?
A cornerback, like troubled yet skilled Janoris Jenkins? Do we give Sam Bradford additional talent to work with at WR with prospects like LSU's Rueben Randle, South Carolina's Alshon Jeffery or Georgia Tech's Stephen Hill? Do offensive line improvements lay in the waiting? Or do the Rams go all Pete Carroll and pull a wild card?
Last night was played set the Rams up for a big haul tonight. In fact, their decisions tonight will likely be much more important to the future of the franchise both in the short term and over the long haul.
Strap in. This is gonna be a wild ride.
