I meant to post this last night, but things have been a little crazy. Sitting on a good three hours of notes with folks ranging from Roger Goodell, George Attalah and a bevy of players past and present, we'll be loaded up with content for weeks. We also worked in the studio until 5:30 a.m. producing these killer draft videos, and will be doing that again tonight. All that aside, let's grade the St. Louis Rams' first-round pick, LSU defensive tackle Michael Brockers.
By now, you've read the fabulous piece from Mike Silver at Yahoo about the scene and rapidly evolving plans at Rams Park last night as the draft unfolded. Fisher and Snead missed a receiver, but they did get a player they wanted, a name that most fans had not thought much about since the Combine.
Brockers has plenty of talent, and should make a difference as a run stopper in year one while the coaching staff coaxes out the pass rusher.
