2012 NFL Draft: Rams HC Says Cleveland Browns A Possible Trade Partner

St. Louis Rams coach Jeff Fisher says the Browns might get a second chance at trading with the Rams.

St. Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher was a one man content factory on Mike and Mike this morning. From Sam Bradford to Gregg Williams, the most famous mustache in St. Louis (sorry, Softli) dished on everything. He also talked a little more about the Rams desire to move out of the sixth spot and cited the Cleveland Browns as a possible trade partner.

Fisher, being vague and leaving open all possibilities, said that the Rams would consider moving up or down in the draft from their sixth spot. He then mentioned Cleveland as a potential dance partner.

With the Browns, the Rams could move up or down in the draft. What the two teams would gain in swapping the fourth and sixth picks, I'm not sure. The Rams could assure themselves of either Trent Richardson or Morris Claiborne in the fourth spot, but Cleveland would risk putting themselves out of the Ryan Tannehill sweepstakes, giving Tampa Bay a prime trading spot with the fifth pick.

Don't read too much into Fisher's statement. Anything is possible, and the Rams are just trying to make it clear that their pick is for sale should anyone want it. The player to keep your eye on here is Ryan Tannehill.
