Tim Tebow Trade: Deals Hits A Snag; Rams Could Get Back In The Mix

The St. Louis Rams were indeed inquiring about the possibility of trading for Tim Tebow. The New York Jets beat them to the punch, but the Tebow chase may not be over for the Rams.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Tebow trade has hit a snag with the league office. The hangup could nix the deal, and if that happens, Schefter says to watch for the Rams to get back in the mix for the Broncos' quarterback.

The asking price for Tebow has been established, a fourth- and a sixth-round pick. That is not a significant price tag for a backup quarterback with just two years experience and all the other stuff that goes with Tim Tebow.

How the Rams would use Tebow, remains to be seen, and it probably is not the first thing on Jeff Fisher's mind this afternoon in the wake of the suspension handed down for defensive coordinator Gregg Williams.
