There is one more hanging chad out there in free agency for the St. Louis Rams, for now anyway. Defensive tackle Jason Jones left town on Thursday afternoon bound for Seattle and a visit with the Seahawks. The Rams put the full court press on Jones, and so did Cortland Finnegan, their first free agent addition of the season.
As for the chances of the Rams landing Jones, those are still unknown. Finnegan was at least optimistic about it. He told Pat Kriwan of CBS Sports that he had a "great feeling" that Jones would end up with the Rams.

Rams GM Les Snead said on Wednesday that they expected a decision from Jones over the weekend, or Monday at the latest.
Of all the free agent targets still out there for the Rams, signing Jones has the potential to make the most significant impact in 2012, shoring up a defensive line well-heeled with edge rushers already.
