Since the Rams have been taking the tortoise to the Redskins hare in free agency, I thought it'd be a good time to put up another pick for our community mock draft. The first round is almost over; there will be a full rundown of the first round when it finishes. For now, enjoy Joe Mazzi's pick for Baltimore:

Devon Still, DE/DT, PSU

Pick Grade:

"With Cory Redding leaving for Indianapolis, the Ravens are again left with a hole to fill opposite right DE, Haloti Ngata. Fortunately for them, Devon Still has fallen to the ladder portion of round one. Still would be a week one starter for Baltimore and, teamed alongside Ngata and Terrence "Mount" Cody, bolsters an already elite rush defense." |
Analysis after the jump.
I can't argue with this pick. It'd be nice if they could find some players to replace aging veterans like Ed Reed (Joe even hinted about taking Mark Barron), but you can't pass up talent, even more so considering the loss of Cory Redding.
Personally, I've seen Still and the other first round defensive tackles go all over the place in mock drafts. But for this late in the first round, it's a hard pick to argue against.
