The Jaguars GM warriorsrise picked wunder-guard David DeCastro yesterday. Today, the Panthers, led by GM jshapgee, are looking to boost their defense. How would one of the years best rated defensive tackles look in Panther blue?

Michael Brockers, DT, LSU

Pick Grade:

A

"The Panthers have many holes to fill but a big one is DT. That is why I'm picking Michael Brockers, the DT from LSU. The Panthers can fill WR, CB and the guard position during free agency so this is why they need Brockers. "

Analysis after the jump.

If you ever saw Carolina play last year, you understood one thing about them: they need a defense. They had one of the worst defenses in the league. Luckily, they are in a prime position to get the man they want on the defensive side of the ball. Brockers has a lot of upside and the Panthers could certainly use a good defensive tackle to assist one of the worst defenses in the league.

The only problem that you see with this is that Brockers has just one season under his belt as a starter. That can make the transition tougher, but he certainly has the talent to succeed.
