The Rams Week 13 Report Card
BR highlights the good, bad, and ugly of Week 13’s win against the 49ers. Aaaaah, it still feels good to say that. Also, stocks for specific players are rising and falling based on last weeks performance. Some interesting selections, in my opinion. What’s yours?
Steven Jackson Says Rams Will "Never Back Down"
The team’s all-time leading rusher discusses how the 2012 Rams have a new identity. For the Rams opponents, seeing a statement win over the 49ers, and a dominating record within the division means a new level of respect when teams see the Rams on their schedule. Let’s see what else the epitome of ‘never quit’ has to say…
Five Defensive Players Rams Fans Should Watch In Bowl Games
With more than three quarters of the regular season down, and with college bowl games slated for late December/early January, the time has come focus some serious attention to the 2013 draft. At this point, those follow NCAAF probably know the slew of probable first round selections, and likely landing spots. There are already a million mocks out there. Specifically for the defense - more specifically for the Rams - here are 5 players that could provide a substantial impact for the Rams in 2013.
Greg Zuerlein Chalks Up Another POTW Award
For the second time in 2012 - and in his rookie campaign - Greg Zuerlein has won the Special Teams Player of the Week Award. When you’ve got multiple nicknames, consistently make field goals over 50 yards, and win games in the waning seconds of the game against your toughest division rival, you’re destined to get recognized. He’s got he Midas foot.
A CBS Sports Preview of the Rams at Bills
Vegas has the line for this game being three points in the Bills favor. They rank 4th in the NFL in rushing, but will be without two of their starting offensive lineman. The game is in Buffalo, so that certainly plays in Buffalo’s favor, especially if weather becomes a factor. But just who do the experts at CBS Sports - the likes of Clark Judge, Pete Prisco, Jason La Canfora, etc. - think gets the win? Click on the ‘Picks’ tab to find out...
Will Bills Show Inexperience On Offensive Line?
The Bills, who have a litany of folks on the Wk 14 injury report - will be without starting right tackle Chris Hairston, and center Eric Wood. Just how will that impact the running game for the Bills? Chan Gailey recognizes the talent that the Rams have lining up opposite his young, inexperienced offensive lineman
Chris and Cris Hate the Rams: v. 13.0
Take a look at where these gents have the Rams ranked heading into Wk 14. As I’ve stated before, it’s clear that Berman and Collinsworth hate the Rams, as they rarely have anything nice to say. Berman quotes a stat, and Collinsworth continues to give us the silent treatment.
Walter Updated His 2013 Mock
At this point, I’m pretty sure that Walter updates these on Wednesday’s solely so that I can squeeze them into my regularly scheduled Thursday Random Ramsdom. This one looks pretty good to me, but as the history of mock drafts have shown, no one will ever agree. The Rams go WR, OL, and TE with their first three picks. What say ye?
Rams Won’t See Brandon Browner In Week 17
Aww shucks! Seahawks pro-bowl cornerback Brandon Browner won’t play the rest of the season, as he serves a four game suspension for violating the league’s policy on PED’s. This suspension certainly stings, as the Seahawks are still in the hunt for a Wild Card spot. Opposite Browner, CB Richard Sherman also reportedly tested positive. He’s got an appeal scheduled for Dec. 14th. If all goes well - for Rams fans - he’ll get the same treatment Browner is getting. SEE YA IN WEEK 17!

A Broncos At Raiders Preview: The AFC West is the worst division in football. Oh, how the tides have turned. The Broncos - who have already clinched the division at 9-3 - will head to Oakland for a Thursday Night Football matchup against the woeful Raiders, who have the inverse record. Peyton Manning and the rest of the Broncos’ starters could probably sit this one out if they weren't in a tie with the Patriots and Ravens, all of whom still look to hunt down the Texans for the conference lead. I’d assume this one gets out of hand pretty quickly, and then Peyton and company get some well deserved rest in the 2nd half. Here’s a preview, courtesy of Yahoo!
