2013 NFL Draft: Bowl Game Open Thread

A trio of offerings sees a couple key day 2 prospects in action and a plethora of day 3 options. Is a future Ram taking the field today?

The prospect tracker has all the prospect tracking you could track prospects with. Leggo.

Ohio vs. Louisiana-Monroe (ESPN, 2:00pm)

As I'm writing this, Ohio QB Tyler Tettleton (one of only two draftable prospects in the game, IMO) is 5/5, 165 yds, 2 TDs halfway through the 1st quarter. Oh ma jeez. Truth is, there's just not much here from an NFL perspective. But maybe the combination of potential UDFAs and a good game is enough for you to turn in. It is for me.

Rutgers vs. Virginia Tech (ESPN, 5:30pm)

Solid scouting to be had here. Between both teams, there are enough day 2 options in play that you need to get a look at a couple guys. Rutgers G Antwan Lowery would be an enticing option if he declares early. The Knights' WR Brandon Coleman needs another year, but at 6'6", he'll have a lot of eyes on him today. Hokie OT Nick Becton could be a late round guy. Of course the scrutiny will largely center around VT QB Logan Thomas, but as Rams fans there are several other prospects on the field more deserving of our focus.

Minnesota vs. Texas Tech (ESPN, 9:00pm)

Easily one of the best bowl logos around (a football belt buckle? Meineke is just ballin' out here), but a bit of a dud of a game scouting-wise. Minnesota doesn't have much to send to the next level beyond DT Ra'Shede Hageman, and Texas Tech is a mess of a program right now that could have five players selected on day 3. My advice: get to bed early and get ready for tomorrow.

As always, the prospect tracker has every draftable prospect in all three games. Get in.
