The 2012-2013 bowl season kicks into high gear with three games today, capped with a Baylor-UCLA contest that will have serious implications for the 2013 NFL Draft.

The prospect tracker has been updated through tomorrow. Let's go bowling!

There's not a ton of scouting here, but the Spartans offer nearly a dozen prospects that could have their name called. I wouldn't be surprised to see many of those return to school, but TE Ryan Otten is a senior that Rams fans could key in on during this one.

Getting close to the really interesting scouting now. You've got a key young talent in Cincinnati LT Eric Lefeld. You've got a WR prospect in Duke's Conner Vernon. You've got a name in Munchie Legaux. Young talent + WR + fun name = good bowling.

Premium late night scouting is a go. Most of the top prospects will be returning to school, but I've got nine eligible players who could go in the 1st or 2nd round. Rams fans will definitely want a look at Baylor's offense with WR Terrance Williams and G Cyril Richardson both early options come April. On the Bruins' side, FS Tevin McDonald (yes, brother of USC's TJ McDonald) will factor on day 2 IMO. And TE Joseph Fauria is a fun receiving TE threat to consider, though his blocking skills are subsubsubpar.

So we've got an enjoyable trio on tap today to welcome in the bowl season in full with the 29th, 31st and New Years Day providing the bulk of the scouting. Today's just got the Belk.

Check out the prospect tracker, and let's talk draft ish.
