It's not quite as packed as the early schedule, but you've got the #1 team in the country in action as well as Palmetto palpitations and a quality Pac-12 showdown.
#8 Stanford at #17 UCLA (6:30 p.m., FOX)
Missouri at #9 Texas A&M (7:00 p.m., ESPN2)
#12 South Carolina at #11 Clemson (7:00 p.m., ESPN)
#1 Notre Dame at USC (8:00 p.m., ABC)
Where to begin...
I talked about Stanford briefly last week ahead of the Oregon game, but I certainly didn't see them having the defensive performance they did. Really impressive showing. And UCLA's a bit thin for the 2013 draft, but Rams fans need to get a look at Joseph Fauria. He's not a blocker by any means, but has the makeup of a plus receiver at the next level.
Of course with A&M, you've got the two tackles to watch. And if there's any reason for either of them to stick around another year (bear in mind, they're both juniors), it's Yony Futbol. And Sheldon Richardson, Mizzou's star DT, is a hell of a player. He was suspended against Syracuse, but he'll be back on the field tonight. He is from St. Louis after all...
Over in the Low Country, Jadaveon Clowney and Sammy Watkins are still a year out. Bide your time appropriately, Les Snead...
Oh, and Notre Dame plays USC and they will have 22 players on the field most o' the time.
