Well, well, well, will you look at that. The St. Louis Rams are climbing the ranks of respectability and it's starting to manifest itself in the weekly NFL power rankings. Status symbols are a funny thing. Nobody cares about them until they care about them, if you catch my drift.
In this week's SB Nation power rankings, the Rams climbed up not one, not two, but SIX spots in the order. A spot in the top twenty is well withing their reach if they can do to the Arizona Cardinals what they did to the Seattle Sehawks.
The Rams are No. 22 this week.
22. St. Louis Rams (LW: 28, 2-2): There we go. I've been on the Rams bandwagon since early this season and now they have a chance to move past .500 -- that's a big deal in St. Louis -- by beating Arizona this weekend.
The Cardinals are at No. 6 after a narrow win against the Miami Dolphins, a win in which they revealed how they can be beaten. I'm sure Jeff Fisher is showing his defense clips of Cameron Wake in that game.
The 49ers are at No. 4 and the Seahawks are at No. 16. Both seem to be ranked a little high in my opinion.
