Power. Raw power. Raw power rankings. NFL power rankings, Week 7. See what I did there? I'm in the media workroom at the Marriott in Chicago, waiting for the NFL owners to make a brief appearance, and looking at some of those very rankings. They look about like you would expect them to following the Rams' mistake-filled loss to the Dolphins last week.
SB Nation puts the Rams at No. 25, down from an irrationally exuberant No. 20 after a pair of wins over their NFC West rivals, the Seattle Seahawks and the Arizona Cardinals.
25. St. Louis Rams (LW: 20. 3-3): Back to .500. The over .500 party can only last so long.
No fan should settle for .500, especially after seeing the team's first winning record in six years. That said, .500 has been a rare thing around these parts. Nobody should be happy with it, but it is at least a sign of progress.
Yay progress?
