HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH TEXAS. THAT WAS FUNNY.

#3 South Carolina at #9 LSU (8 p.m., ESPN)

From a college standpoint, this is A+. The Ol' Ball Coach with his highest-ever ranked South Carolina team against a wounded LSU team in Death Valley at night.

For the 'Cocks, it's the same retreads as earlier open threads. RB Marcus Lattimore could be the first RB off the board (pity the team that takes him in the first). DE Devin Taylor, FS D.J. Swearinger, OLB DeVonte Holloman, C T.J. Johnson all look legit. And Jadeveon Clowney might be the most disruptive DE I've seen since Julius Peppers. And check out true sophomore #99 DT Kelcy Quarles. He's starting to develop a solid inside game.

On LSU, it's all defense. Because LSU is all defense. Get a good look at FS Eric Reid. This is a game he can dominate if Connor Shaw gets tired of throwing it away or taking the sack. As for future drafts, square in on #70 OG La'El Collins. He's starting to show the form expected of a recruit with as much national hype as he had.

#22 Texas A&M at #23 (gulp!) Louisiana Tech (9 p.m., ESPNU)

Louisiana Tech is ranked in the top 25. START WORKING ON YOUR BUCKET LIST. THE APOCALYPSE IS NIGH.

Seriously, if you haven't check in on the A&M OTs, do it tonight. LT Luke Joeckel and RT Jake Matthews are both going to be involved in a lot of 1st round mock drafts. For Louisiana Tech, it's a treat for you WR fans. Quinton Patton is flying under a lot of radars right now. That won't be the case come Combine time. Get a look tonight
