Monday Night Football: Hakeem Nicks, Justin Tuck Likely To Play Tonight

The New York Giants will most likely have two of their biggest stars healthy and on the field for Monday Night Football tonight. Many wondered about wide receiver Hakeem Nicks and defensive end Justin Tuck for the game. Tuck missed last week still dealing with neck issues, and Nicks suffered a bruised knee against Washington last week.

Giants head coach Tom Coughlin told Albert Breer of the NFL Network that he "feels good" about the likelihood of Nicks and Tuck playing tonight. Nicks had over 100 receiving yards last week, and the Giants vaunted pass rush could have used Tuck.

With Tuck in the game, Rams OT Jason Smith has a real challenge on his hands. Last week Smith struggled against the Eagles pass rush, and Tuck is one of the best in the game. Defending both Nicks and Mario Manningham will test the Rams secondary in their first game without CB Ron Bartell, who was lost for the season after fracturing his neck last week.
