Steven Jackson Injury: Pregame Workout Will Determine Jackson's Availability

If your head feels like a ping pong ball trying to keep up with all the Steven Jackson injury news, I completely understand. Obviously, Jackson is a vital part of the St. Louis Rams game plan in any week. It would be nice to have him available for what really has to be considered a "must-win" game against the New York Giants

Head coach Steve Spagnuolo told Albert Breer of the NFL Network that he plans to put Jackson through the pregame workout today. That will determine his availability for tonight's game. Spags explained further:

We knew the only shot he [Jackson] had was to rest it all the way through. It'll be a tough call.

The guessing game continues. Jackson is no stranger to playing through injuries. A strained groin and a broken finger failed to keep him off the field last year, though it did compromise his effectiveness, particularly his ability to stiff-arm would be tacklers to extend his runs

If Jackson does play tonight, I would still expect him to share more of the load than usual with Cadillac Williams and Jerious Norwood
