Week 3 of college football kicks off tonight with what should be an entertaining SEC matchup between LSU and Mississippi St You can get my (of course unfinished) week 3 watchlist right here, and filter through some of the names tonight as well as what I'll be filling in leading up to Saturday night's clash in Tallahassee.
Speaking of great stuff, if you didn't catch buckeyefan55's Rams-only mock from earlier today, you should check it out. Great conversation, and you know when you get differing opinions you're getting sincerity. Feel free to bring that discussion this way as we approach game time.
Speaking of, LSU is, as always, stacked with NFL talent. There's the top-tier CB combo of Morris Claiborne and Tyrann Mathieu (those as a sophomore, Mathieu wouldn't be available until the 2013 draft; Claiborne's a junior, so he could declare). There's defensive line help with ends Lavar Edwards and Barkevious Mingo and tackle Michael Brockers who are all draft-eligible (though I could see Mingo being sought after as a 3-4 OLB). And while I think freshman Anthony Johnson is the most NFL-able, he's a true freshman and has plenty of development left. Besides, those are talented prospects in their own right. And WRs abound, with Rueben Randle and freshman Odell Beckham.
So flip on ESPN, catch some SEC action and let's see if we can pick out a Ram in tonight's game.
