The St. Louis Rams take on the Jacksonville Jaguars tonight to wrap up the preseason. How will a return to Jacksonville feel for Mike Sims-Walker?

The St. Louis Rams look to wrap up the preseason with a nice little bow against the Jacksonville Jaguars tonight. Though exhausted with preseason football, tonight's game carries some meaning for the team. Starters will play the first quarter, and are expected to play against the Jaguars' starters as teams look to squeeze in some extra practice in the wake of the lockout.

Let's get right into the game day links.

Quinn Ojinnaka is a versatile dude - One of several players looking for a backup role on the Rams final 53-man roster, the former Falcon and Patriot will see plenty of snaps tonight. Personally, I think the key for Ojinnaka is how well he can play center.

Battle of the bubble - A small army of players, 27, will have to be let go by the end of the day on Saturday. A tune up for the starters, tonight's game is really about the guys trying to play their way up the depth chart or even onto the roster.

Rams' salary cap picture - Howard Balzer has a great run down of the Rams' salary cap situation, including cap costs for this year for the players on the roster. The cost of the top three players - Chris Long, Sam Bradford and Jason Smith - goes up next year, making re-signings and restructured contracts an important agenda item for COO Kevin Demoff.

A "bittersweet" return to FLA - Yes, Mike Sims-Walker is returning to face the team that spurned him this year, and he talked a little about that situation. Sometimes a change of scenery is exactly what a player needs. MSW played hurt last year because his team asked him to. Sub-par QB David Garrard did not throw to ball to MSW much, as he stuck to his first read. Naturally, playing hurt and not getting targets caused some consternation for a player in his free agent year. At the end of the day, the NFL is a business above all else.
