The St. Louis Rams' first-round pick, defensive end Robert Quinn, is healthy and ready to practice. Yesterday, it appeared as though Quinn might still be on the sidelines at Friday's practice, even after passing his physical. The NFL did not approve his contract for unknown reasons. Whatever it was, the legal document has since been fixed. Robert Quinn should finally be on the field for practice today.
This should come as good news to fans worried about early reports of Quinn's knee keeping him out of practice. Fortunately, his knee troubles ranked as a minor irritant, some thing to be cautious about rather than hit the panic button.
A handful of undrafted free agent contracts got the thumbs down from the NFL for including radio and television rights, which sounds like an interesting way to lure those players with bonuses now limited. I'll be shocked if any of the UDFAs make the final 53-man roster this year.
