Cross-state rivalries are usually left to high school spots, drug cartels and other entities. Still, fans can muster up a little bad blood for the St. Louis Rams game tonight against the Kansas City Chiefs, even if it is the preseason.
Over at Arrowhead Pride, they have their annual bash St. Louis thread up and open for comment. But we've got something something better than geography: the Todd Haley - Josh McDaniels rematch.
You will recall, of course, last year when Josh McDaniels' Broncos beat the heavily favored Chiefs by a score of 49-29. Haley did not enjoy losing, and shook his finger thusly at McDaniels after the game, refusing to shake his hand. Haley pulled a similar stunt during the preseason this year, complaining to Ravens' head coach John Harbaugh about running up the score in the preseason. The preseason.
Of course, there's only one thing for McDaniels to do tonight: run up the score.
Let's also open a caption contest on the above photo; they should write themselves.
