The stat predictions roll on.  Yesterday, it was Josh Brown.  If you haven't offered your predictions for the Brown Bomber, head over here and drop em down.  Up tonight is everyone's favorite perennial Pro Bowl snub: punter Donnie Jones, aka Thunderfoot.  And yes, predicting punter stats is incredibly satisfying.

Jones had another fine year in 2010, posting some of the best numbers of his career.  Though he was 8th in yards per punt, he was 3rd in the more important net yards per punt that factors in return yardage.  Yes, hang time does matter.  He posted another strong line in pinning opponents back by landing 34.04% of his punts inside the opponents' 20-yard line and surrendering just four touchbacks in his 94 punts, a career high.

So for your Jones predictions, we'll go with this format:

Total punts / avg. yards per punt / avg. net yards per punt / % inside the 20 / total touchbacks

ESPN has a solid stat sheet to get a sense of his year-by-year numbers throughout his seven-year career.  For me, I'll go with 81 / 44.1 / 40.1 / 41.0% / 6 .  Get your butts on the record.

  Holler.
