Tonight's a veritable buffet of preseason NFL football. Really, it might be the next best thing to a trip with your grandparents to the Golden Corral to stuff your face with cookies, buttery instant mashed potatoes and meat-like substances genetically modified to be extra tasty. There's actually NFL football every night this weekend and Monday, with tomorrow night's game between the St. Louis Rams being the most important, obviously.
Jump right in the open thread if you're watching exciting matchups like Washington vs Indianapolis or perhaps the more exciting action between the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens.
My picks and thoughts on a few games.
Arizona at Green Bay - If this were a regular season game, you might feel guilty for watching it. Not tonight, when you can see just how good the Packers' depth really is compared to the Arizona starters. Yes, Kevin Kolb, blah, blah, blah, Kevin Kolb.
Kansas City at Baltimore - The Ravens lost to the Eagles last week, in a game that didn't feature much from the starters. Keep an eye on the Ravens, I have a sneaking suspicion that this could be a tough year for them, setting up a potential upset for the Rams in week three of the regular season. The Rams play KC next week in preseason action, and it sounds like they'll be without first-round pick Jonathan Baldwin, who broke his thumb in a locker room fight with Thomas Jones.
