NFL Top 100 Players: No Rams ranked in #20-11; which NFL players did make it?

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is ranked #11 on the NFL Top 100 Players list.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is ranked #11 on the NFL Top 100 Players list.

The NFL Network continues its popular offseason filling program, the Top 100 Players, this Sunday night with a look at players ranked 20-11. Yes, that leaves a show dedicated entirely to the top ten spots, but why stop at one show when you could break it up into two? This is the lockout offseason after all.

Nobody from the St. Louis Rams made numbers 20-11. The highest ranked player from the Rams on the list, so far, is Steven Jackson at #38. He is also the only member of the Rams on the list. Will any more players from the Rams make the Top 100? And who is ranked #20-11? Find out below.

I doubt that any other players from the Rams make the list, one voted on by NFL players. It's not that the talent isn't there, it's just that the talent is still pretty young.

Let me illustrate my point with James Laurinaitis and Sam Bradford. Both promise to be among the best in the NFL at their respective positions, but with just two years and one year of experience, respectively, they aren't quite ready. Patrick Willis made the list at #23. I think JL will be just as good, but he's not yet. Aaron Rodgers made the list at #11; he has a Super Bowl ring.

If the NFL goes this route to fill air time next summer, watch for plenty more Rams on the list.

And now, numbers 20-11:

20. Michael Vick
19. Clay Matthews
18. Nnamdi Asomugha
17. Haloti Ngata
16. Charles Woodson
15. Dwight Freeney
14. Larry Fitzgerald
13. Chris Johnson
12. DeMarcus Ware
11. Aaron Rodgers
