The St. Louis Rams draft picks from the first two days of the NFL Draft are best described by surprise. Their first round pick, Robery Quinn, was a surprise because it was widely assumed that he would not be available with the 14th pick. Their second round pick, TE Lance Kendricks, was more of a "what the..." kind of surprise. Today, the third and final draft of the 2011 NFL Draft, the Rams have four picks left. Will these picks be surprises or something closer to expectations? The draft starts at 11 a.m. Central time. You'll know soon enough.
The picks the Rams have left:
Round 4, Pick 15 (112)
Round 5, Pick 14 (145)
Round 7, Pick 13 (216)
Round 7, Pick 25 (228) (From Baltimore)
As far as needs go, the Rams have some big roster spots to fill at outside lineback, safety and offensive guard. Oh, and there's also that backup/complementary running back spot they were expected to fill with their first two picks of the draft. I'd look for that one to be addressed first today.
Here's our look at the best players available at those positions today.
