Yes, this is the point where I cede all independence from football and accept the dominance of my lord and master, the NFL. I have officially created an open thread for the release of the 2011 NFL season schedule, exactly 30 minutes from now. So much for pride and self-worth.
Such is life. Mediation, appeals, lockout - heh, a football Jedi craves not these things. There are legitimate NFL-related issues to discuss tonight. Either Van or I will drop a reaction piece by the end of the night on the Rams' schedule and how things shape up, but for now, this is your reaction open thread.
And BTW, should the Rams face the Seahawks again in Week 17, I don't want to hear about the sky falling. At least not for tonight.
