With the 21st pick in the TST Community Mock, the Kansas City Chiefs, represented by DMan83 select:

Akeem Ayers, OLB, UCLA

DMan83 chimes in on why he selected Ayers:

The reason is that the Chiefs need a play making young linebacker. Right now they have Mike Vrabel and we all know his days are about to end. Ayers is just the guy for the job as he has the ability to cover the pass and rush the quarterback. If Kansas City wants to become an elite team they are going to need this. At the opposite side of Tamba Hali the Chiefs will have their future linebackers set up for a while with a lot of power and quickness.

I totally agree with DMan83 on this one. The Chiefs need a replacement for the aging Mike Vrabel. Akeem Ayers is one of the most athletic outside linebackers of the draft and would help improve the Chiefs linebackers. Still, they need a right tackle, but given Scott Pioli's talent, I'm sure they could find one later on in the draft.
