Philadelphia Eagles QB Kevin Kolb, the hottest name in totally irrelevant trade talk, is in the news again. As usual it's in connection with an NFC West team...meaning its not really news at all. Teams and the media can talk all they want about trading, but until the league gets the lockout resolved it's going nowhere. Waiting around for a trade, Kolb will soon have an impact on the St. Louis Rams' offseason. He'll be in Houston throwing to his former University of Houston teammate Donnie Avery next week. The most talked about potentially new NFC West QB is helping the most questioned NFC West receiver get in game shape.

Running back is a deep position in this year's draft. Though it may lack in do-it-all types, there are plenty of good options to be had on days two and three. Rang points out Hawaii RB Alex Green and Clemson's Jamie Harper as two of several he expects to surprise in the NFL. The Rams had both of those players in for visits last week.
