[Note by VanRam, 04/14/11 3:33 PM EDT ] Before bristling at the headline, read on...it's quite the deal for any armchair GM, promoted by Van.
Ladies and gentlemen, by now you have probably seen the results of the previous MtD live mock draft. If you read those results and wondered whether Buckeye is actually the second coming of Jay Zygmunt, and that the advice he has been fed by dbcouver and I resembles the cow dung that only Armey and Martz could have believed, then please accept this opportunity to show us the errors in our ways.
This weekend MtD is hosting another Live Mock Draft and Buckeye is already working hard wheeling and dealing behind the scenes trying to secure a few conditional trades.
During the event we are going to run another TST War Room and would like the benefit of wider community involvement. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have the whole weekend free, just drop in and out when you have time is fine. It also doesn’t matter how active you normally are on TST - if you’re a Rams fan and have an opinion on the draft as it is happening, we want you to let us know what you think.
If you followed the last live mock you will have seen that each pick and our strategy was discussed throughout; it certainly was not a dictatorship. It will be the same again, but, as with any War Room there is potential for many different views which do not always agree, so Buckeye will have the final say on each pick as GM.
Unlike last time where we just put up a fanshot, this time around we are trying to go a little more high tech. If all goes according to plan, we will have a TST War Room (Google doc) that includes a big board, picks order (and pick value), positional rankings and we can also discuss picks and strategy in private.
So, if anyone wants in, I’ll need your email address. It is easier for you to email me at: RamintheUK@hotmail.com and I should be able give you access (all going well). Also, please include your TST username, because if I get emails requesting access from No.Hope@whothehellareyou.com, I’m not going to know whether you are a Rams fan or not.
Finally, if you have a better idea on how to run this, any trades that should be explored before the draft begins, or anything else relating to the MtD live mock draft, let us know in the comments.
