With the 10th overall pick in the TST Community Mock Draft, the Washington Redskins, represented by RamintheUK, select: Cameron Jordan, DE, California

RamintheUK gives his reasoning behind selecting the defensive lineman:

Where the hell did those 1st round QB’s and WR’s go? Okay, moving on and resisting the temptation to make Albert Hainsworth a mentor for Nick Fairley, the Redskins only have 2 picks in the first 4 rounds so this should be a a safe pick that can start from day 1. With NFL ready strength, good size, good hands, quickness off the snap, no injury or obvious character concern, and having versatility to play in either the 3-4 or 4-3, Cameron Jordan is easily the safest pick here.

The pick here definately make sense. With both QB's and WR's off the board that Washington would most likely look at with this pick, the safest pick (meaning most likely to start or contribute, day one) available makes sense. Of course, with the Redskins, that isn't always the case, but this is a good pick here. Of course, the likelyhood of the Shanahan led Redskins picking up a defensive lineman that hasn't played for the Browns is slim, but Cameron Jordan is a good selection to help bolster their defensive line, which was terrible last year.
