What is wrong with you people? Are you so consumed by football that you'll tune into watch prospects jaunt around in workout clothes?
Of course you did. We love the NFL Combine. What football fan worth their salt doesn't? The NFL sent out a press release today that the Combine earned record ratings this year as 6.6 million viewers tuned in to see the action on NFL Network. I know our little TST family is Combine crazy, our stats proved that.
Ratings for the Combine are consistent with the NFL's string of record ratings, from a week 17 prime time battle for 7-9 supremacy between the St. Louis Rams and the Seattle Seahawks through the playoffs and to the Super Bowl. Football makes money, more money than ever.
Put this news in the context of the labor battle, which is scheduled to wrap up at the end of the day tomorrow. It still defies logic as to how we got to the point where there might not be football next year.
