Offseason gaming with Mark Clayton

Mark Clayton of the St. Louis Rams is having a busy offseason.

Here's a cool offseason story. St. Louis Rams wide receiver Mark Clayton will join movie stars Steve Martin, Don Cheadle and football players Bernard Berrian, Larry Johnson and others in a poker tournament to raise money for Africa

The Las Vegas event, Raise Your Hand for Africa, is hosted by none other than Larry Fitzgerald and Adrian Peterson. It happens next weekend in LV.

Clayton has been rehabbing from knee surgery following an injury he suffered in the Rams' ugly loss in Detroit last season. He's scheduled to be a free agent this year, but the Rams are expected to resign him after the connection he established with Sam Bradford. Clayton could be part of a starting trio of Rams receivers that includes Donnie Avery and Danny Amendola. It's possible there will be another receiver in the mix, but that remains to be seen.

Like all free agents, Clayton's status is subject to the CBA situation being resolved.
