Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas tears Achilles - the Draft effect

First it was Prince Amukamara, then Julian Peterson, now Demaryius Thomas.  Each day brings more news that could affect the Rams at #14 in the first round.

Demaryius Thomas, the Broncos' first round WR selection in last year's draft, tore his Achilles while training today.  While most Broncos fans are still riding high on his potential, the chance that injuries could derail his career added to however highly the Broncos' front office thinks of Georgia WR A.J. Green put him at play at #2 overall.

Sure, Denver needs help defensively.  But should Denver's front office believe fully that Green is the truth, it could certainly come to bear in April.  If that does happen, Alabama WR Julio Jones is likely out of play before Detroit at 13, one pick before the Rams.

Consider the following: A.J. Green, Julio Jones and Von Miller are gone.  According to the poll at the end of dbcouver's recent draft post, that would suggest the community's behind Prince Amukamara.  Still Prince?
