The prospect for St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford do not look good. While the general feeling already is that he will not play against San Francisco today, it was furthered by news today that he was seen limping onto the team bus headed out to Candlestick Park.
Limping into a game with one of the toughest defenses in the NFC would not seem to favor Bradford playing today. Backup quarterback A.J. Feeley will most likely get the start in Bradford's place. Feeley started two games in October for the Rams, including an upset win over the New Orleans Saints, while Bradford sat out with a high ankle sprain.
That same ankle injury is bothering Bradford this week. He aggravated it last week on a rollout against the Cardinals, and missed all but a few snaps in practice this week as the team prepared for today's game.
Bradford's status for the game will be official until 90 minutes before kickoff.
