Missouri Vs. North Carolina, Independence Bowl 2011: Open Thread For Prospect Watchers

Good evening football fans. As you well know, those of us dedicated to the St. Louis Rams are unfortunately forced to start our NFL Draft talk earlier in the season than most other fans. With the Rams proud owners of a 2-13 record, that's certainly the case this week as the more exciting games of the NCAA bowl season get underway. Tonight's matchup is the Independence Bowl featuring Missouri vs. the University of North Carolina.

The connections for Rams fans are obvious. First, there's Missouri, that being the home state of the Rams, for our more geographically challenged fans out there. The Rams have a couple connections to UNC, most notable their first-round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, defensive end Robert Quinn.

There are lots of top prospects for the 2012 NFL Draft on display in this game, so there should be much to talk about tonight. Drop your comments here as you watch the players play and the game unfolds.

Right below this post is a list of some of those prospects as well as links to scouting reports.

The game starts at 5 p.m. Eastern, and you can watch it on ESPN 2. It's being played in Shreveport, LA.
