This Week is Golden Tate's Time to Shine

Drafted in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks, Golden Tate has had a quiet Pro career to date. Life in the NFL must have been a cold slap in the face for the Notre Dame wide receiver. A consensus 2009 All-American and Biletnikoff Award winner in his final college season, he posted incredible numbers, catching 93 passes for 1496 yards and 15 TDs.

Since his arrival in Seattle he has been conspicuously silent so far. That could all end during the Monday Night Football match up with the defensive secondary-deprived St. Louis Rams. The talented Sidney Rice is injured, and if Golden Tate is going to shine this season, this will be the perfect stage for him to showcase his talents. His counter part, rookie WR Doug Baldwin, was my Sleeper Pick in the last Seattle-Rams game and that turned out to be painfully prescient. This time it's Golden Tate. If your Fantasy Football team is looking for a sleeper WR3, I don't think you could go wrong popping him into your line up this week.
